title	An Alternate Reality, and the BSCC in Harleston, Norfolk - 6th August 2026
intro	After we drop Harry off at Karate, we decide to have a walk around the new housing estate behind Millfield and Haygate, partly to see what happened to the old Mill Allotment path, which had been cut off for quite a while as the estate was being built. And it's quite interesting in that odd way that new-build estates have, which are part Stepford Wives and part alternate reality, or even some sort of Heizenberg construct: both alive and dead at the same time, as whilst most houses are apparently occupied, there's no-one around. The next day, the BSCC is off again on a Thursday ride, this time to Ampersand's original pub in Harleston - The Cap - formerly known as the Cardinal's Hat. Finally, on Saturday, there's a lot of activity at Diss Fire Station, which turns out to be some sort of charity motorbike ride, with hundreds of bikes coming and going in various waves.
