title Hartismere Carols and the GSB in Bury St. Edmunds, Suffolk - 14th December 2025 intro It's a musical few days with the Gislingham Silver Band playing at Abbeygate Manor care home in an enjoyable gig but which unexpectedly involves the band having to sit outside, as the care home, which had only been open for a few months, hadn't really considered how much space a brass band would take out of its concurrent Winter Fair. Almost immediately after the gig, it's time to head over to Occold to play in the band for Dove Players' upcoming pantomime - Sing a Song of Sixpence. Then on Monday, it's Hartismere School's annual carol concert, which Fred's in as well as helping out with, but before all of that it's time to decorate the Christmas tree. imgp5254 Isobel puts up baubles on the trees out front imgp5258 We've got a Christmas tree from Diss Garden Centre imgp5259 The boys help to decorate the Christmas tree imgp5261 Lilly - Ball of Dim - isn't impressed with a hat imgp5265 The GSB's outdoor seating at Abbeygate Manor imgp5266 David and Harriet are first to set up imgp5268 Fran helps to rug David up imgp5270 David's got a wooly hat as well imgp5272 George and Mario at Occold Village Hall imgp5274 Harry and Isobel are on stage imgp5277 Nicola does some directing imgp0008 Fred helps to tidy up after the concert imgp0010 More djembes are carried away imgp0014 The church empties out imgp0015 The stage is deconstructed
