title A New Boiler and the GSB at Botesdale, Norfolk - 9th November 2025 intro The Gislingham Silver Band is once again doing the Remembrance Service at Botesdale. Before that, it's time to replace the oil boiler which has sprung a leak in the heat exchanger. It was first installed around 23 years ago so hasn't done too badly really, however as one of the bigger plumbing jobs it's never a good time to have to replace a boiler. imgc20251027_140519 This year's apple crop is dropped off in Kenton imgp5023 There's a nice sunset over the side field imgp5025 Nosher replaces a leaking boiler with a new one imgp5029 Epic plumbing in the new boiler imgp5031 The new boiler is installed imgp5024 The old boiler has become a kitchen island imgp5035 Isobel finds some nice Wood Blewitts imgp5036 There's a lone euphonium outside the café imgp5037 Adrian shuffles some papers imgp5038 The band assembles outside Santiago's Art Café imgp5040 Adrian holds up a march card imgp5042 Mark and Terry: the two drummers imgp5044 Adrian and the vicar imgp5047 There's a good turnout for the event imgp5049 A view up Botesdale's High Street imgp5050 Botesdale's village sign imgp5051 Autumn colours thanks to some late-flowering cosmos imgp5054 Lilly - tiny cat - flops on a concrete slab imgc20251115_115204 Nigel and the Hoxon Hundred are in Morrisons imgc20251117_102500 Houses are re-thatched in Brome Street
