title A Wet Walk to the Black Horse, Thorndon, Suffolk - 20th July 2025 intro We do the first pub walk for a while with what turns out to be quite a wet walk to the Black Horse in Thorndon. Once there, the boys have loaded chips, whilst we have a couple of beers, then there's a quick chat with former Brome Swan regular Steve Parker. On the way out, there's a raffle being held by the Friends of Thorndon or something, so we get a couple of tickets. imgp4000 A field of cows, just outside Eye imgp4001 Isobel walks off along the Mid-Suffolk Path imgp4003 A calf gives us the Hairy Eyeball imgp4005 Derelict farm equipment imgp4008 The path runs through a golden wheat field imgp4012 We're nearly at Clint Road imgp4013 Isobel and Fred scope the menu in the Black Horse imgp4015 Harry fiddles around with something imgp4016 We get ready to head off imgp4020 Harry gets a ticket in the pub raffle imgp4021 Fred has a go in the raffle imgp4022 Fred outside the Black Horse imgp4027 There's a cool 6.4 Chevy Impala outside the pub imgp4029 Fred whacks a tree with a thick branch imgp4031 Harry holds an umbrella high in the air imgp4033 It's been raining fairly heavily imgp4035 We're back on the Clint Road imgp4038 We walk through Old Church Farm imgp4042 More cow action imgp4044 The thistles are in flower imgp4046 Back in the wheat field
