intro	It's a round-up of randomness as Isobel's off to the US to present at a conference in Rhode Island. Firstly, we do a Sunday pub walk to the Crossways at Scole. Then It's Fred's last uniform day of school, there's a clear-out of the draw full of ten years' of train tickets from the commute to London - probably numbering several hundred - and then Nosher heads off for a bike ride on an almost-summer's day. Later on, the BSCC - Nosher, Fred and The Boy Phil - head over to the Crown at Gissing with a stop-off on the way back at Ampersand Tap. The big event is when Isobel gets back and heads over the field with Harry to pick up two kittens from Pamela, which make themselves at home in the dining room.
