title The Village Hall Plant Sale, and a New Dinghy, Weybread, Norfolk - 19th May 2024 intro It's the annual plant sale down at Brome Village Hall, so we head down there for some bacon rolls and a few plants whilst Isobel's off doing a Park Run. Then, the Boy Phil mentions that a few of the fields on the farm are bare before drilling, so we head over for an hour to do a bit of detecting. We don't find gold, but do haul up quite a bit of iron work in a fairly short time. Finally, we're over at the lake to give the new "Birthday Boat" a spin - it's a nice little 12' dinghy that Isobel picked up second-hand as a birthday present. imgp2037 A leaf is covered in weird pink willies imgp2038 Fred inspects the table of food in the village hall imgp2040 The plant sale is on at Brome Village Hall imgp2042 There's a good crowd browsing the plants imgp2043 Tim looks out from behind a table of plants imgp2045 There's quite a crowd inside imgp2046 Fred and the boys haul plants back to the car imgp2049 Some sort of disc harrow rusts away imgp2051 Fred tries the detector out in the yard imgp2052 Fred tries a bit of detecting on a field imgp2053 Harry as a quick go as we find some iron bits imgp2054 Isobel on the road outside Dairy Farm imgp2058 The boys have fun with burning sticks imgp2061 Harry's got a good flame on his stick imgp2065 Mini Molly Mog roams around imgp2073 Harry pokes his stick into some old tealights imgp2085 Harry returns to the fire pit for a top up imgp2088 The newly-chipped extended patio area imgp2092 Fred helps to rig up the new birthday dinghy imgp2104 Nosher and Fred sail around on the lake imgp2110 We chase after a Wanderer imgp2112 The dinghy is back on its parking spot imgp2114 We have tapas for Sunday tea imgp2115 Fred looks over imgp2118 Another cactus is flowering
