title A Walk to the Swan, Hoxne, Suffolk - 1st January 2024 intro It's the morning after the night before, and for a change the weather's not rubbish. So, to get outside for a bit we decide to walk to the Hoxne Swan - a return trip of about six or seven miles, up the road and across the fields. Fred stays behind to spend even more time on the XBox, but The Boy Phil tags along too. imgp0275 We're off up Rectory Road again imgp0277 Winter skies over wet fields imgp0279 Harry and Isobel on the bridge over the River Dove imgp0281 We walk up the field to Eye Road and Hoxne imgp0285 Harry and Isobel at the bar in the Hoxne Swan imgp0288 Harry's on his phone again imgp0289 A bottle with a couple of pink roses imgp0290 Architecture reconstructions of the pub imgp0291 Harry waits in the back corridor imgp0292 Harry stumps off back to the bar imgp0293 The Swan's wall seems to gave fallen over imgp0296 Back on the path up to the Laundries imgp0297 Some of the fields are really churned up imgp0299 Poo Pants written in the dirt on a car door imgp0300 We walk back past the church
