title	BSCC Rides and the Village Fete, Brome, Suffolk - 8th July 2023
intro	As Harry pointed out last year, the absence of the circumflex on the spelling of the word Fête on all the posters for the village fête leaves open the possibility of pronouncing the word as Feet, and so it has become known as the village Feet ever since, although perhaps not by anyone else, anywhere. This year, Nosher and Fred are helping out on the bottle stall, a fixture which proves particularly popular. Before that, the remains of the BSCC is out at Botesdale and then Mellis, and Nosher tries to get over to Southwold, where Harry and Isobel are doing Karate Kamp. Unfortunately, some sort of giant drawing pin gets stuck in one of the car's tyres, which means abandoning the trip and trying to find somewhere to repair it.
