title	A Day by the Pool and a Festival Rehearsal, Arezzo, Italy - 3rd September 2022
intro	It's our last couple of days in Arezzo. Firstly, we go for a short walk up the hill behind the vineyards of La Striscia - which is harder than it should be because of a cold (which after a test a few days later turns out to have been Covid), then we walk into town to pick up a takeaway pizza from 'o Sarracino. The next day, Isobel's friend and Arezzo native Stefano is in town, so he brings his children over to hang out by the pool for a bit. Later on, and suitably impressed with the pizza from the night before, we arrange to go back to 'o Sarracino and make use of their outdoor seating area, where apparently the mosquitos all go home at exactly 8.30pm. After that, we get tangled up in the parade which is heading over to the Piazza Grande for a full rehearsal, complete with jousting horses. Unfortunately, access to the piazza is ticket only and the stupid online system is broken, so we can't get in, however the boys are already bored and fidgetty so it's probably moot. Then we're back at the shed that is Pisa Airport for a few hours' hanging around with not much to do before the trip home.
