title A Trip Down South, New Milton, Hampshire - 9th April 2022 intro Nosher's down in New Milton - the old manor - to catch up with Sean, and also to see Phil who's over from the US for the first time in three years. Whilst in New Milton, we nip round to meet up with Phil, who's staying at his mother's pad, and then later Sean and Nosher head into the Conservative Club. This is not without some internal political conflict, but the place does have a number of nice snooker tables, and it's quite amusing even being there at all. Before all of that, there's an hour to kill in Diss whilst Isobel gets a haircut, and then we're off to Woodbridge for a couple of hours so Isobel can pick up her renovated violin. imgp2594 An old garage/shed on Chapel Street in Diss imgp2597 A view to the back of Dolphin House imgp2598 St. Mary's church in Diss imgp2601 A stripey cat struts around imgp2604 The stripey grey cat looks out over Diss imgp2606 There's a new build going on by the Mere imgp2608 A Swootman Champion Plough, made in Diss imgp2610 The Greyhound Pub on St. Nicholas Street imgp2612 The town hall in Woodbridge imgp2613 Some very rude police gnomes at Swirly Cottage imgp2614 Isobel roams around near the Tide Mill imgp2619 Molly kitten climbs around imgp2620 The train to New Milton waits at Waterloo imgp2622 Graffiti on the trackside near Waterloo imgp2626 The rebuilt Battersea Power Station imgp2628 More tags on trackside equipment imgp2632 Nosher's alma mater of Brockenhurst College imgp2637 On the platform at Brockenhurst Station imgp2638 The steps out of the station imgp2639 A view of the tracks at Brockenhurst imgp2640 Sean hangs out in his lounge imgp2642 The iconic New Milton water tower imgp2643 Bits of New Milton are going upmarket imgp2644 Other bits of town are looking more derelict imgp2646 The Walker Arms, formerly known as The Rydal imgp2647 Jon the Hair's parents' former antique shop imgp2648 There's a nostalgic trip to the War Memorial Hall imgp2649 The New Milton Memorial Centre imgp2650 Sean, Phil and Bernice imgp2652 Hamish and Sean stride around imgp2657 Hamish gives us a lift back from Phil's mother's imgp2658 We visit the Hourglass for a couple of craft beers imgp2659 The view out of the Hourglass imgp2660 Beers in the Hourglass in New Milton imgp2661 We actually visit the Conservative Club imgp2662 Snooker in the Con Club imgp2664 Sean cues up imgp2666 Nosher plays a shot imgp2671 Nosher lines up on a red imgp2676 The dart board says it like it is imgp2678 Sean rustles up some fajitas
