title A Walk Around the South Bank, London - 25th March 2022 intro It's the day after the Genesis gig at the O2 and Nosher and Sean are both hanging around London for a walk around and a general catch up. After we check out of the Premier Inn Hub on Brick Lane, we scope out some of the local graffiti before heading off on a stomp over the river. As we get near London Bridge, we decide to try the Shard out, but despite being told by some security dude that it opened at 11 and going away and coming back again half an hour later, it actually turns out that it doesn't open until one in the afternoon, so that's a bust. Instead, we poke around Borough Market for a bit and then head off through the old SwiftKey Manor of Southwark Street and Southwark Bridge Road, before continuing on to the Festival Hall. We stop for lunch at Wagamama before heading our separate ways at Trafalgar Square. imgp2519 The sweet shop opposite is closed imgp2520 Brick Lane is quiet on a Friday morning imgp2522 Shop-shutter graffiti imgp2523 More graffiti on shop shutters imgp2526 Graffiti on a brick wall imgp2527 More shut shops imgp2528 There's a 3-D ear stuck to a wall imgp2529 Graffiti on the railway bridge imgp2531 Sean looks up at some wall art imgp2533 Painted wall near Allen Gardens imgp2535 The path back to Brick Lane imgp2536 The path heads under another railway bridge imgp2539 Railway graffiti imgp2540 The Truman brewery chimney from Allen Gardens imgp2541 Graffiti for Ukraine imgp2546 New Spitalfields Market is quiet imgp2547 Days and Nights Crash Over Me Like Waves imgp2549 Leadenhall Market imgp2550 The grand Victorian Leadenhall Market arcade imgp2551 The infamous Walkie Talkie looms out of East Cheap imgp2552 The Great Fire Monument is almost hidden imgp2554 Sean in an underpass near London Bridge imgp2556 Pigeon action on London Bridge imgp2560 Ted's Veg in Borough Market imgp2564 Sean looks back underneath the railway line imgp2565 Southwark Cathedral imgp2569 The old manor: Redcross Way gets some swan art imgp2570 Blackfriars's Bridge, and low tide on the Thames imgp2571 Under bridge arches at Bankside imgp2573 Lots of graffiti under the Festival Hall imgp2577 A skateboarder does his thing imgp2578 10Foot graffiti on Charing Cross Bridge imgp2580 Anti-graffiti paint, apparently imgp2583 Tourists gets some selfies in at Trafalgar Square imgp2584 The National Gallery in Trafalgar Square imgp2585 Back at Liverpool Street Station imgp2586 A woman with a crown checks a timetable imgp2587 The train to Norwich
