title Genesis at the O2, North Greenwich, London - 24th March 2022 intro Nosher and Sean are at the O2 to see the much-postponed last-ever Genesis tour, which was originally supposed to have been in 2020. Phil Collins is looking frail and can't walk about much, let alone play the drums any more, but can still belt the songs out vocally, but the biggest revelation is in son Nic Collins' drum-playing ability, which is youthful and stunning. Combined with Tony Banks' choice of more analogue sounds for his keyboards, the band actually sounds closer to their early-80s live heyday than they have for ages - right down to the appearance in the set of the song Duchess, which hasn't been performed since the Three Sides Live tour. The light show is also properly impressive, given that at the start there doesn't seem to be any sort of stage set at all: after the first number starts, a whole load of movable lighting gantries appear from nowhere, and continue to move around all night, definitely providing some authentic Genesis lighting experience. Before all of that, Nosher and Harry are in Southwold for a couple of hours on the pier. imgc0053 Horses trot through Mill Street in Gislingham imgp0085 The boys and a nice Mini in Diss imgp2489 Harry looks at the Aliens shoot-em-up game imgp2490 Harry waits for a game of Air Hockey imgp2494 Harry feeds the Ticker Eater machine imgp2495 We share a portion of chips in the pier café imgp2501 Freightliner Class 08 shunter 08785 at Ipswich imgp2503 An old Class 90 - 90047 - at Ipswich imgp2507 90014 "Over the Rainbow" and the former 90005 Lord Nelson imgp2509 The Spitalfields' Goat statue imgp2510 There's a newish elephant statue outside Spitalfields imgp2511 The Corporation of London Wool Exchange imgp2512 Posters on the S.
