title Trevor's Last Apple Pressing, Carleton Rode and Shelfanger, Norfolk - 18th October 2020 intro It's Trevor, of Greenwood's Apples, final year of commercial pressing, so it's fitting that it's our best harvest for ages, especially after last year's wash out with frosts wiping out the blossom. So it was that Nosher and Fred took around 150kg of crisp Jona Go Red apples in the camper van up to Carelton Rode for a pressing. After that, Nosher stops off at Shelfanger to get some photos of the old garage and petrol station, which is up for sale by auction. The van's battery is playing up so it won't start again, so we have to get the AA out. imgp3896 The van is well packed with apples imgp3901 There's a bit of a range between apple sizes imgp3902 Fred weighs up apples imgp3904 The van in the yard imgp3906 Fred carts boxes around imgp3909 An old Ford 4000 tractor in a shed imgp3910 Fred in the apples imgp3913 An advert for a replacement presser imgp3915 Fred pokes around in the apple yard imgp3916 Trevor wheels a few boxes around imgp3922 The van squares off with a tractor imgp3925 Derelict petrol pumps at Shelfanger imgp3926 The old Shelfanger garage and petrol station imgp3931 The B1077 Shelfanger Road imgp3933 A curious old water pump imgp3934 A derelict garage imgp3938 These pumps are not in use imgp3941 A derelict house
