title The Shakesbeer Festival, Star Wing Brewery, Redgrave, Suffolk - 13th July 2019 intro It's the second "Shakesbeer" festival at Star Wing Brewery on the edge of Redgrave, deep in the Suffolk countryside. As the name suggests, it's a mash-up of beer festival with music and outdoor theatrical performances of Shakespeare - this year featuring Twelfth Night. We camp over in the van so we can make the most of the twenty or so beers on plus the evening entertainment from Mick the Baker's band, with former The BBs guitarist Rob on duty. imgp1270 Crowds mingle around in the sun imgp1271 There's some funky jazz on imgp1273 Funky jazz on stage imgp1275 Pouring a pint imgp1278 Jimmy talks to someone imgp1279 A dog looks up eagerly imgp1282 There's a product demo of electric motorbikes imgp1284 There's a mazzive queue for a food van imgp1286 People head off to the amphitheatre imgp1288 The actors are in some sort of pre-amble imgp1292 The audience assembles imgp1296 There's an introduction to the play imgp1297 Some acting occurs imgp1298 The cast take applause at the end of the play imgp1300 The cast is beamed into space imgp1306 Rob Huckfield's on guitar imgp1314 Mick the Baker imgp1320 The sax player roams around imgp1345 Rob does more twanging imgp1348 Mick gets up to Rob's guitar imgp1370 The crowd is loving it imgp1374 Mick the Baker talks to the crowds imgp1381 Rob and the sax player imgp1387 The sax player returns from a tour of the audience imgp1403 Mick looks up imgp1413 Mick the Baker on backing Spanish guitar imgp1429 Mick has a laff imgp1438 The sax dude plays two horns at once imgp1445 More crowd adulation imgp1452 Fred is absorbed by the band imgp1472 One of the actors gives some adulation imgp1493 Outside, there's an empty tent doing nothing imgp1494 The next morning, Isobel sits in a camp chair imgp1496 Isobel by the van imgp1499 The van in a Star Wing field imgp1500 Redgrave church of St. Mary's imgp1504 Gravestones lean on the church wall imgp1512 Isobel walks back with bacon sarnies imgp1517 Fred legs it back from the tap room
