title A St. George's Day Parade, Dickleburgh, Norfolk - 28th April 2019 intro Nosher and Fred are in their first actual march with the Gislingham Silver Band, at the Scouts' St. George's Day Parade in Dickleburgh. It turns out to be surprisingly difficult to play an instrument, read music and march all at the same time without crashing into the row in front, plus it's absolutely freezing. But it's an interesting experience and good practice. imgc3271 The Scouts carry their flags from the Scout hut imgc3273 The traffic marshall keeps an eye on things imgc3274 People assemble at the school imgc3277 Milling around at the school imgc3278 Isoble takes a photo imgc3279 The Scouts' drummer checks up on arrangements imgc3280 Adrian appears imgc3281 Bernard chats imgc3282 The band consults on the "set list" imgc3283 Adrian catches up with the band imgc3286 Nosher and Fred, who's on flute imgc3290 Nosher and Fred look like a religious cult imgc3300 The band assembles imgc3302 Terry leads the GSB off up the road imgc3305 Fred brings up the rear imgc3310 The band marches through Dickleburgh imgc3314 Nosher and Fred go past imgc3315 Some more Scouts imgc3316 The Sea Scouts march past imgc3318 The procession passes through the graveyard imgc3322 Scouts and Beavers sit down for a presentation imgc3324 Isobel and Harry imgc3329 St. George fights with a dragon imgc3333 The dragon is slayed by St. George imgc3336 The massed crowds behind the church in Dickleburgh imgc3338 An actual sousaphone
