title A Mini Qualcomm Reunion, The Wrestlers, Cambridge - 26th April 2019 intro Craig organises a reunion of former Qualcomm Cambridge employees at one of the old haunts - the Wrestler's pub and Thai restaurant on Newmarket Road in Cambridge. There's a great, and at times unexpected, turnout of former staffers, including Steve Ives - the founder of the 3GLab/Trigenix startup that became Qualcomm Cambridge in 2005. Nosher had arranged to be working in town on that day and was camped out at Microsoft Research near the railway station, but annoyingly was also doing phone interviews in the afternoon and so had to bail out a bit early. Sadly, this meant not getting a chance to even really speak to some people. Later, Fred's off to someone's birthday at Planet Lazer in Bury St. Edmunds. imgc3239 Dave and Dominik imgc3240 Nick C gives the hairy eyeball imgc3243 Steve H and F-dood imgc3247 Steve Ives talks to Martin D imgc3248 Nick and Stefan do some sort of counting with fingers imgc3249 Mingling around imgc3250 John S talks to Dom imgc3252 Isobel chats to Dave B imgc3254 Stef, Nick and Steve at the bar imgc3255 Nick looks over suspiciously imgc3256 John looks over whilst ex-Qualcommers eat lunch imgc3258 Chewie shakes hands imgc3259 The view of next-door from the top of MSR in Cambridge imgc3260 Looking along Tenison Road from the top of MSR imgc3261 Looking towards the University Library imgc3262 More Tennyson Road imgc3263 Two vehicles with almost-matching registrations imgc3264 Numbers on an old shipping container imgc3266 Biffa bins and some old warehouse building imgc3267 Fred is at a party at Planet Lazer in Bury imgc3268 Fred and his mates on air hockey imgc3269 Henry watches Fred play Air Hockey
