title Fred's First Nativity, St. Peter's Church, Palgrave, Suffolk - 8th December 2011 intro It's Fred first-ever appearance in a Nativity play - Peacock Nursery's staging of "an Easy Cheesy Nativity" held in Palgrave Church. It's properly traditional: Fred's playing the part of a shepherd, complete with a tea-towel on his head, whilst everywhere else is mostly tears and chaos. Before that, we go for a short walk around the fields to see Chinner the horse. Boris the Stripey Cat comes along too, until he gets a bit scared and meows at us until we take him back. imgp7023 Fred roams around with a stick imgp7024 Boris pokes about imgp7027 Isobel is followed by the cat imgp7033 Boris isn't so sure imgp7035 Boris gets his frizz on imgp7037 Stripey Cat imgp7038 Fred walks about near Syd's imgp7040 Isobel follows Boris back imgp7043 Fred and Isobel imgp7044 Fred by Syd's sheds imgp7046 In St. Peter's church imgp7050 Fred's into it, the kid on the left, less so imgp7052 The cast is assembled imgp7054 The interesting painted roof of Palgrave Church imgp7063 The performance kicks off imgp7065 Children mill around imgp7069 The Nativity play reachs its denoument imgp7071 After the gig imgp7072 The nursery group mills around imgp7076 Fred hangs on to Jemma imgp7078 Fred in his towel imgp7083 Baby Jesus' acting is a little wooden imgp7087 Gov, Isobel, Oak and Martina imgp7089 Nice old stained glass window imgp7090 A striking modern stained glass window imgp7092 Isobel and Fred head off back to the car
