title Helicopters on the A14, and a Walk at Thornham, Suffolk - 7th October 2010 intro On the way to work one morning, we're held up on the A14 for a while as it's closed in order to let the air ambulance land on the carriageway. It's there to attend a quite spectacular crash in the other direction, involving two cars on their roofs - one in the middle of the road and the other on the verge. It's not every day that you get to see an actual helicopter parked on the A14. Elsewhere, Nosher's looking after Fred for the day, as Fred has Chicken Pox. So we head over to Thornham Walks in the van to wander about for a bit and point at stuff (in Fred's case, at least). dscf2110 The cats have caught a rabbit dscf2114 Fred and Elizabeth in the kitchen dscf2120 Boris is stuck up a tree about one metre up dscf2132 Boris - Stripey Cat - in a tree dscf2142 Fred hangs on to a tree dscf2253 There's a helicopter on the A14 dscf2254 The East Anglian Air Ambulance at Six Mile Bottom imgp5982 An inquisitive cow imgp5985 Fred on the path through Thornham imgp5986 Pastoral scene, and munching moos imgp5991 Fred roams about in the walled garden imgp5995 A big spreading tree imgp5996 A chicken-wire dinosaur imgp6009 A Great Tit pecks at peanuts imgp6026 A variety of tits peck at peanuts imgp6049 A dim pheasant pokes around imgp6114 Fred stomps along the boardwalk from the hide imgp6130 Fred on the swings imgp6136 Fred the Head again imgp6142 Isobel feeds the ducks imgp6156 A duck gets in close to steal bread imgp6164 Isobel by the Mere in Diss imgp6169 Fred has a look out over the Mere imgp6170 Isobel and Fred imgp6172 Ladbrokes relocates to the centre of town imgp6174 Isobel and The Boy on Mere Street in Diss imgp6175 Isobel and Fred walk along Mere Street imgp6178 A hazy sun hangs low in the sky imgp6181 Isobel does a bit of "off roading"
