Matt's Allotment and Meldon Hill, Chagford, Devon - 26th December 2007
Shortly after the Boxing Day hunt heads off on to the moor, we head over to have a quick scope at brother-in-law Matt's new allotment, on the outskirts of Chagford. There are sheds and everything. Later, it's time for a vigorous walk up to Meldon Hill, which is almost-but-not-quite a proper Dartmoor tor (although it seems to fulfill the definition nicely enough). The views over Chagford are excellent, and the weather holds out nicely.
