Persian Day Parade, Madison Avenue, New York - 25th March 2007
It's the first whole day in Manhattan, and Nosher and Isobel wander down from their Upper East Side base at the Courtyard Marriott through Central Park to happen upon a parade on Madison Avenue in Midtown. It happens to be a Persian Day Parade, which provides interesting cultural contrasts and a generally colourful (and noisy) spectacle.
