intro	Nosher finally scores a working trip to mainland China - via Hong Kong - and ends up in Nanjing, some 250 miles north west of Shanghai. Nanjing is the capital of Jiangsu province, and is some what pejoritavely known as a second-tier city, despite having some significant history. There wasn't a huge amount of time to actually roam around, but by the end of the week it was decided to throw caution to the wind and walk back from the offices to the hotel, and see a bit of life on the streets of Nanjing. There's also a sort-of "working" visit to the Buddhist temple that's right behind the offices where Nosher is stationed for the week. The office we were stationed in was notable for having perhaps the smelliest toilets in the universe - by the end of the week, it was possible to hold the breath for much longer than at the start.
