title CISU: An SCC Day-Trip to Bruges, Belgium - 26th May 2000 intro Only a week or two before leaving Suffolk County Council for ever, Nosher gets a final work trip to Bruges, as part of the Suffolk/West Flanders partnership - known in Flemmish as Het Akkoord - where Nosher was on the Suffolk Local Government Association "Web Working Party", known as SLGAWeb, or, somewhat uncharitably, "SlagWeb". Colleagues Andrew Brooke, from the same CISU/ISIS IT department, and Margaret Davies from Libraries & Heritage are over too. After the meetings, there's an hour or two to roam around Bruges and have a look around. scan-111125-0007 The Hotel du Ville in the Grande Place scan-111125-0008 Andrew roams about scan-111125-0009 Lounging about, Bruges style scan-111125-0010 Bruges buildings scan-111125-0013 Some tourists take a break scan-111125-0014 Crowds mill around in the Grande Place scan-111125-0015 Cafés around the edge of the Grande Place scan-111125-0016 The Tom Pouce Tea Room scan-111125-0019 Close-up of the Hotel du Ville scan-111125-0020 Tourists on a boat trip scan-111125-0021 Flags of Bruges scan-111125-0022 Peaceful river scene scan-111125-0023 A Brudges back street scan-111125-0024 A bronze head of Frank van Acker scan-111125-0025 Andrew poses by Frank van Acker's head scan-111125-0026 Andrew and Margaret roam about in a town square scan-111125-0027 A nice little square somewhere scan-111125-0029 Margaret and Andrew on a bridge scan-111125-0030 More river life scan-111125-0031 Another Bruges river scan-111125-0032 A view on the river scan-111125-0033 Cobbled streets scan-111125-0034 Andrew and Margaret inspect the shops scan-111125-0035 Down by the Sandwicherie scan-111125-0036 A Bruges wedding occurs scan-111125-0037 More Bruges wedding action scan-121109-0064 Café culture scan-121109-0066 A tourist horse and cart
