Epson HX-20: It could mean the end of the rubber duck as we know it

From the time when the only colours allowed in anyone's decorative colour scheme were black, red and grey comes this advert from Epson. 

It's perhaps one of the more irresponsible ever, given the potent mix of electricals, white wine in a triangular glass and 250 litres of soapy water. 

The HX-20 was generally considered to be the first "laptop".  It ran two Hitachi 6301 CPUs at a little over 600KHz and was first announced at 1981's Comdex in Las Vegas[source: http://oldcomputers.net/hx-20.html], although it wasn't widely available until 1983 - the year of this advert.
