The 6507 was a version of MOS Technology's more-famous 6502 but which had only a 7-bit data bus - making a little cheaper to build around - and which only supported up to 8K of memory. It's most famous use was in powering the Atari VCS - later known as the 2600 or "Woody" - the video-game console which, while not the first, came to rule the industry for a decade.
