This advert, from Practical Computing, shows Commodore's range of computers and printers in the hands of archetypal business suits and the nuclear family.
It includes the recently-launched VIC-20 - the first computer to sell one million units - and the last classic PET models in the 8000 series, plus a rather large 5.25" dual floppy drive and a re-badged printer. The guy at the back holding the PET in the air is probably a weightlifter, as these things weight in at about 20 kilos (44 pounds).
The ad says: "Easy to use, too. All of them. From our new, incredibly low-priced VIC-20 Colour Computer to our big, low-cost 8000 Series for data and word-processing, there's a Commodore to give you unlimited capabilities, whatever your budget... no one should be without one."
It's also slightly curious as the advert gives the address of Commodore Electronic's European headquarters - Dufourstraße in Basel, Switzerland. CEL was based out in Hong Kong and seemed to have been considered within the wider Commodore as some sort of Siberian gulag, should anyone get posted there.
