title	Riddlequest at Sutton Hoo, Woodbridge, Suffolk - 23rd February 2024
intro	For a half-term activity, Isobel's booked us into Riddlequest - a sort-of escape room based at Tranmer House and the Great Hall at Sutton Hoo. It's quite entertaining and is based around several genuine Saxon riddles, and part of the fun is in actually trying to read the clues. Whilst they're not actually in Saxon, it's tricky enough to read sometimes, and one of the puzzles even uses the archaic Saxon/English þ and ð letters. It's also quite cool being at Sutton Hoo - in the house and exhibition - at night with no-one apart from the other team and the organisers about. Before the escape, we head into Woodbridge for pizza, after a tip-off from one of the National Trust ticket scanners. Before even that, we're in Diss and decide to get bacon or sausage sandwiches from Morrison's café for some reason.
