title Ben Leaves "The Lab", Fort St. George, Cambridge - 16th June 2006 intro One of the dwindling band of original 3G Lab (then Trigenix, and now Qualcomm) staff - Ben - decides to move on into the world of consulting. In keeping with tradition, there's a gathering for beer somewhere, this time at the Fort St. George on the river in Cambridge. There had been a lunchtime trip to the Green Dragon as well, but work commitments meant that Nosher missed that particular free-food session. Anyway, the evening starts with a stop-off to Isobel's local - the Kingston Arms, and then a trek over to meet up at the George. Following large amounts of Leffe (and a mild hangover), Nosher and Isobel head off the next day down Mill Road in Cambridge for a drink at café CB1 and then a rummage around the Salvation Army shop, where Isobel spots a Singer sewing machine table. This in turn required the flagging-down of some South African guy on a bike to actually get it out of the car again. imgp1189 A relic of old media - Roll On Blank Tapes imgp1191 Roll On Blank Tapes on Gwydir Street imgp1193 60s apartments behind Mill Road Cemetery imgp1194 A park bench in Mill Road Cemetery imgp1195 Nosher drinks Leffe imgp1196 Ben plays with Nosher's camera imgp1200 Clare, Ben and Hani imgp1201 Nick, Clare and Ben imgp1202 The gang at the Fort St. George imgp1205 Nick sticks his tongue out imgp1208 Clare and Ben imgp1217 Nick does his stare imgp1222 Ben, Hani and Andrew imgp1232 Nick does some tray spinning imgp1235 Nosher imgp1241 Isobel looks at the collection of books in CB1 imgp1242 A view out of the café window imgp1244 Nosher looks up imgp1249 Neighbours stop for coffee and a chat imgp1250 Commodore PETs in a café imgp1251b Isobel fiddles with her sunglasses imgp1252 Neighbours meet imgp1254 The boarded-up Hot Numbers record shop imgp1255 Hot Numbers record shop on Kingston Street
