title Qualcomm goes Karting in Caxton, Cambridgeshire - 7th November 2005 intro As a celebration of the first anniversary of the assimilation of the old Trigenix into Qualcomm, most of the company drives (or in some cases gets in some early practice by rallying in souped-up Ford twat-mobiles) up to Caxton, a few miles west of Cambridge for a few hours thrashing around the indoor kart track. Nosher, being the odd-one-out, doesn't get into a team, although Team A generously subs in for a 10-minute session, which probably cost them a place. However, it's a good photo-op, and gives lots of scope for dynamic action shots, although 191 photos taken with only and hand-full making it into this album is not a particularly good hit-rate. After the karting, we're off to Yim Wah Chinese restaurant on the Caxton Gibbet roundabout on the A428 - perhaps not the most obvious place, but it's pretty good. imgp3324 Pre-racing pre-amble: safety drill imgp3325 The design team hang out imgp3330 Russell McHugh hangs off a railing imgp3352 Isobel looks terrified imgp3355 Isobel heads off imgp3360 Bob checks his phone imgp3361 Tim Simpson imgp3365 Isobel drives around imgp3368 The Qualcomm gang look out over the race track imgp3385 Petay races imgp3387 The karting track imgp3398 Hands up in despair imgp3400 Martin Dickens looks out imgp3420 The race is on imgp3429 It's a neck-and-neck race to the line imgp3446 Arun chats to Isobel imgp3447 Janet looks wistful imgp3452 Tim and John Scott imgp3470 Rob checks his phone imgp3476 Francis holds up the E card imgp3517 The starting grid imgp3527 Tim makes a turn imgp3532 Isobel still looks scared imgp3556 Chewie, who bought his own helmet, wins imgp3564 Francis and Arun imgp3566 Russell and Francis imgp3567 Liviu looks up imgp3569 Debs sorts the menus out in Yim Wah imgp3573 Food comes out imgp3577 James and Tim imgp3580 Ben covers his face imgp3584 Rice is served imgp3585 Dan Brunton looks glum as sizzling beef appears
