A fascinating insight into life shortly before the outbreak of World War 2, courtesy of the David Hardaker Collection - a selection of pages and snippets from an edition of the Daily Mirror from June 1939. It's interesting how (with hindsight, of course) utterly non-warlike it is - references to Hitler read like they're simply discussing "some bloke from Germany"
